A guided tour in the known and the unknown. For many locals, Nokkåsen stands as something they all have a relationship with. Many of them have been at the top and passed this beautiful and distinctive mountain through known trails. However, Nokkåsen hides many secrets. Here are some paths that are known only to the local sheep. Here you can find vegetation that is almost untouched through hundreds of year. Here there are ancient and mighty oak trees. We now offer guiding through some of this amazing landscape where few people have gone.

The trip starts from Hodnesvannet and goes relatively steep up to the peak on hidden paths. We return down on the side of the mountain facing Slettebø. Halfway down, we turn left and traverse the entire length of the mountain on unfamiliar and exciting trails down to the bridge at the end of Hodnesvannet.

Duration: Approx. 1 -2 hours.

Difficulty: Easy to medium.

The guide is Tore Sunde-Rasmussen. Tore is born and bread in Trollpikken's vicinity and still hikes there several times a week. Everest twice, and in addition, Tore is known as the 2nd Scandinavian that has climbed the mountain from both sides (north and south). He is part of an exclusive company of people who have climbed the largest mountain on all seven continents, also called "7 Summit".
